Hasbro's Fur Real Chewbacca ($109) was such a hit with my testers that I have included it with some reservations on my Holiday Pick List. Let's get the obvious out of the way: this is a battery powered novelty toy much as the Tickle-Me-Elmos have been over the years. It does a lot of the imagining for a child with its moving arms and mouth and "voice". I'm not even sure it is that cute, and I'm a big Star Wars fan, and the price gives me sticker shock. But, his more than a hundred sounds, motions, and facial expressions brought nearly universal smiles, so I'm going to let the Wookie win and suggest if you've got a Padawan in your house, this might be a real hit if the price is within your budget.
