I agree with the American Academy of Pediatrics that screen time for children two and under should be minimized. (Actually, they say screen time should be "avoided".) If video is to be avoided, music on the other hand can be highly enriching. An easy way to bring audio to the baby's room is with this adorable night light/player. Push the light switch and bunny's ears light up and change color slowly and soothingly, just the thing for nap time. It comes with pre-recorded songs and nursery rhymes and you can add your own via a micro SD card. Sound quality is better than many kid-players I've tested in the past, though you could accomplish much of what is offered with a more versitile Bluetooth speaker. On the other hand, you'd miss out on the glowing bunny ears!
