HI-tech toys should be a supplement to children's play, not a replacement for traditional toys. Balls, books, and blocks are still critical tools through which children master mental and physical development. Also, don't let technology act as a replacement for your lap! Your face-to-face interaction with your child reading, playing, talking and singing are more important than any battery operated plaything.
